What is PTR and why its important?

The purpose of the DNS is to point the ip to a right location means the specific key to a specific door so when you ask for that particular door key you can only able to access that door which key is belong to. 

Now, PTR is records works opposite way, Its one of the authentication  for verifying your DNS or the domain name. It shows IP used with a particular domain. 

Now, lets create or you can get PTR from many websites, 

In our case the for the IP : 123.456.789.0 is our IP and now to create the PTR it should be website-0.789.456.123.website.com now you can also verify your PTR records from the LeaftDNS  and check at the MX records you might find your PTR records there. 

Once you have your PTR Records you can easily integrate with your cPanel or hosting admin. To do that we can show you the way to integrate into WHM. 

Step 1. Go to DNS function

Step 2. Add DNS Zone

Step 3. Enter the Server's IP at IPV4 

Step 4, Enter the PTR Records [Which you have created or copied from the Leaf DNS] 

Once you do that your entire WHM will have PTR records,
